The Trellchem gastight / Level A suit range offers the highest performing chemical protective clothing in the world, including single-skin suits certified to the most demanding standards in both America and Europe. Trellchem gastight and splash protective suits are relied on by defence forces worldwide.
They are designed to offer maximum protection, allowing personnel to work safely and efficiently with full focus on the mission at hand. With excellent durability for extended use in chemical response missions, each suit provides protection against a variety of chemicals, including chemical warfare agents and biological hazards.
The Trellchem EVO provides maximum protection against hazardous chemicals in liquid, vapour, gaseous and solid form, including warfare agents.
Trellchem EVO is fully certified in accordance with the American standard NFPA 1991, including the optional chemical flash fire and liquefied gas protection requirements. The suit is also certified to the European standard EN 943-1 and EN 943-2.
Trellchem has a number of other suits in the gastight range, including:
Trellchem has developed a suit type intended for use with a powered air purifying respirator (PAPR), which makes it possible to work longer hours with less weight to carry. The Trellchem 2000P is a PAPR suit ideal for use by decontamination personnel in a variety of situations. It is a fully reusable suit which can itself be decontaminated (if required) and easily repaired in the event of damage occurring.
All Trellchem Splash suits offer effective protection from liquid chemical splashes in situations where a gastight suit is not required. The suits are made in PVC-coated fabric and are available in different designs, all certified to the EN 14605 standard.
The Trellchem Splash 2000 is a suit offering totally encapsulating splash protection for use where a gastight suit is not required. It provides protection against hazardous chemicals in liquid and solid form and especially good protection against acids and alkalis. Designed to carry a breathing appa¬ratus inside the suit, the Trellchem Splash 2000 is fully certified in accordance with the
European standard EN 14605 and is the highest liquid chemical protection suit in our Splash range.
The Freeflow products are designed to be used without self-contained breathing apparatus; you simply connect the suit or hood to an external air source and breath.
The Trellchem Super Freeflow suit provides excellent protection against hazardous chemicals in liquid, vapour, gaseous and solid form. The suit was designed for use with an external air source, which allows longer working hours and provides a more comfortable working environment.
The Trellchem Super Freeflow is made from Trellchem Super material, which is based on a real woven fabric coated with elastomers. This construction maximises strength and durability of a material while maintaining softness and flexibility.
The combination of butyl rubber with Viton® on top offers an outstanding resistance to chemical attack from a wide range of different chemicals.
