Remploy Frontline Launches Innovative CBRN Body Bag

Exhibiting on Stand 2333 at Defence Systems & Equipment International 2007 in London, innovative Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear (CBRN) protection specialist Remploy Frontline unveiled its new state-of-the-art CBRN body bag which provides an outstanding 48 hours of containment for contents which are suspected of having been contaminated by military chemical agents and/or various toxic chemicals.
Underlining its commitment to producing groundbreaking products which afford effective solutions for military and civil CBRN first responders throughout the world, the new CBRN body bag is manufactured from an innovative barrier fabric which combines two chemically resistant materials to facilitate optimum containment.
These materials pass ASTMF1001.
The bag combines a unique ventilation system with a single bag design for improved functionality and an integrated NIOSH approved CBRN F12 filter prevents bag expansion whilst barring the escape of CBRN agents. As you would expect with a Remploy Frontline design, product integrity is paramount and a high performance interior Texon hydrophilic pad provides greater absorbency, preventing collapse when wet.
All seams and handles are hermetically heat sealed and a semi-rigid lip includes an innovative zip edge design which significantly reduces the risk of liquid spill on opening.
In addition, practicality of use for handlers has been comprehensively addressed and the four pull handles are strategically placed for easy transportation and have been subjected to 1000 Newtons pull test to ensure maximum durability. The bag is available in two sizes: adult and body-part.
