FIELD CHEMICAL LABORATORY - PCHL-3M

The portable field laboratory PChL-3M is designed for the analysis of the air, samples of liquid and solid materials. It allows users to detect and identify the following toxic substances:

  • Chemical warfare agents: sarin, soman, tabun, VX, mustard, lewisite adamsite, chloroacetophenone, phosgene, cyanogen chloride, arsine, CS, CR, BZ
  • Specific biological pathogens: botulinium toxin, anthrax spore, cholera, ricin
  • Alkaloids: strychnine, veratrine, brucine, apomorphine, akonityne
  • Toxic industrial chemicals: ammonia, chlorine, hydrogen sulphide
  • Heavy metal cations: lead, thallium, selenium, antimony, arsenic, chromium, mercury, cadmium

Analytical methods applied in the laboratory allows to:

  • Detect the presence of chemical contamination and define the kind of toxic agent
  • Estimate the contamination level of the sample

The laboratory is a portable system operated by one soldier. It is made in the form of the convenient case serving as the storage of reagents and equipment. The case is equipped with a wheel system for convenient movement. Capacity of the reagents and analysis agents allows about 300 different analyses.

DETECTING TUBES FOR CHEMICAL WARFARE AGENTS AND TOXIC INDUSTRIAL CHEMICALS

Detecting tubes are assigned to fast determination of chemical warfare agents and toxic industrial chemicals in the air. The detecting tubes provide both a qualitative as well as approximate quantitative result for assessing the level of hazard caused by the toxic substances.

Following substances are detected:

  • CWAs: sarin, soman, v-gases, mustard, phosgene, diphosgene, hydrogen cyanide, cyanogen chloride
  • TICs: ammonia, chlorine, hydrogen sulphide, nitrogen dioxide, sulphur dioxide, hydrogen chloride

CWA DETECTION STRIPS - PWCh-1

PWCh-1 is designed for detection and identification of chemical warfare agents in a liquid form. Presence of agents is indicated by coloured spots appearing on the paper. Mustard, lewisite, VX, sarin and soman substances are indicated.

PERSONAL CHEMICAL PROTECTION PACKAGE - ATLAS

ATLAS is designed for individual protection and decontamination in case of exposure to CWAs. The package consist of three components:

  • Protective and decontaminating ointment - protects exposed skin areas against contamination
  • Organic decontaminant - for decontamination of individual equipment like firearms and other metal objects or components
  • Powder decontaminant - for decontamination of skin and facial parts of gas mask

Ergonomically designed spray bottle, tube and powder decontaminant plastic bag ensure easy and uncomplicated use of the package both in summer and winter conditions.

EXPLOSIVES IDENTIFICATION KIT - PIR-2

PIR-2 is a portable set of reagents for identification of wide range of explosives in field conditions. The reagents, in the form of aerosols, allow recognition of the slightest amounts of explosives on various surfaces.

DRUGS TEST KIT FOR IDENTIFICATION OF NARCOTICS - NARKO-2

NARKO-2 is designed for presumptive identification of drugs in field conditions. Portable test kit allows identification of the most prevalent drugs and psychotropic agents.
