Kaercher Futuretech - Water Purification Systems

To fulfil the basic need for drinking water Kärcher Futuretech has developed a range of mobile purification systems. all these systems are able to desalinate sea and brackish water and to produce drinking water out of nearly any water quality without the need of chemicals.

The capacities vary from 12,000L drinking water per day (WTC 500 RO) to 120,000L (WTC 6000). According to the specific needs, the systems can also be mounted on trailers or installed in containers.

HIGHLY MOBILE WATER PURIFICATION WTC 500 SERIES

With the Waterclean 500 it is possible to produce up to 15,000L of best drinking water every day.

The basic module WTC 500 RO has the same dimensions as a euro-palett which makes it very flexible and mobile.

The production of drinking water of the highest level is ensured by multiple safety steps:

• Particle filter
• RO membrane filtration
• UV-disinfection
• Post chlorination

The Waterclean 500 is available in three versions:

WTC 500 RO - the WTC 500 RO is a purification module which includes particle filter, RO membrane filtration, UV-disinfection and post chlorination. Its dimensions are those of a euro palett.

WTC 500 G - the WTC 500 G consists of WTC 500 RO, generator and all necessary accessories (pump, hoses etc.) that makes the system very independent. The components are mounted on a platform for easy transport of the system.

WTC 500 GT - Waterclean 500 GT is a WTC 500 G whose platform is mounted on an all-terrain single-axle trailer which makes the system highly mobile.

MOBILE WATER PURIFICATION WTC 1600 SERIES

Waterclean 1600 continuously produces 40,000L drinking water per day anywhere in the world.

The system operates automatically with the simple 'two-button-operation' = start/stop. A minimum manpower is required because of the self-sufficient 24h/day operation. The module has an integrated CIP system (Cleaning In Place) for disinfection, cleaning, etc.

The WTC 1600 series is also a modular system which is available in different versions:

• The WTC 1600 as the basic purification module, including accessories
• The WTC 1600 G which consists of the WTC 1600 and an encapsulated, especially lownoise running generator
• The WTC 1600 GT is a WTC 1600 G whose platform is mounted on all-terrain single-axle trailer which makes the system mobile.

The Double Pass Mode Option makes sure that drinking water produced by Waterclean 1600 under the defined conditions, clearly exceeds the strict levels of the World Health Organisation (WHO), German Drinking Water Regulatory Body, and even STANAG 2136.

WTC HIGH SALINITY WATER PURIFICATION SERIES

Waterclean 2000/5000 HS high-salinity water purification systems are made of high quality steel for extremely corrosive environment. Raw water with TDS (salt content) up to 55,000mg/L can be purified to drinking water with TDS<500mg/L.

The included Energy Recycling System (ERS) saves up to 60% of running costs, day by day. Water cooled Kärcher high pressure pumps ensure reliable operation even in the hottest climate zones.

By the careful selection of materials and components an excellent value-for-money-ratio is achieved in the special field of purifying sea water with high salt contents.

CONTAINERIZED WATER PURIFICATION SYSTEMS

The Waterclean 3200/6000 mobile waterworks enable to produce up to 240,000L dinking water for the daily supply of up to 120,000 people in emergency situations independent of the climate conditions.

Thanks to its modular construction every system can be individually equiped according to the specific needs. There is a wide range of accessories (bladders, analysis sets, tents, etc.) and all the advantages of the WTC 1600/3000 are included. A bypass mode for only biologically contaminated water enables a production of up to 10,000L/h.

WATER BOTTLING PLANT WBP

In the WBP 700 (20ft container), PET bottles with a capacity of one-litre are produced from small light-weight pre-forms in the field. These bottles are then filled with freshly purified drinking water, capped and labelled under hygienic conditions.

This reduces the logistical effort for the field camp decisively and helps to save the often enormous expeditures on personnel, fuel, trucks and convoy accompanying vehicles. By using pre-forms the volume handling is reduced by more than 90% while its weight is even reduced by more than 95%. Up to 15,000 bottles can be filled every day. The container includes all necessary sub-systems like power generator, air conditioning, compressor, etc.
