Intelagard provides a wide range of equipment from the man-portable Macaw™ backpack, to the large-scale Falcon™ fixed site decontamination system.

EASYDECON™ DF-200 CHEMICAL / BIOLOGICAL DECONTAMINATION FORMULA

EasyDECON™ DF-200 is a proven and tested chemical / biological decontamination formula tailored for a variety of applications. Intelagard systems deployed DF-200 to kill anthrax spores in the Hart and Dirksen Senate office buildings, and the Ford and Trenton mailrooms. The unique three-part formula neutralizes chemicals and has tested 7-log kills (99.99999%) against biologicals, including viral pathogens such as SARS and the avian influenza virus (bird flu).

Deployed by Intelagard systems, the decontamination foam has the unique ability to adhere to vertical and inverted surfaces, allowing the durable foam blanket to maintain required wet contact time between the detected agent and the decontamination formulation.

MACAW™ COMPRESSED AIR FOAM BACKPACK

The Macaw is a Compressed Air Foam (CAF) man-portable 18.9L backpack, powered by an on-board SCBA air cylinder. The system is capable of applying virtually any liquid-based material through an array of accessory nozzles, and can expand foaming solutions up to 60 times, creating 1,136L of foam per 18.9L fill.

Macaw units are comfortable to carry and can shoot up to 12m with foam or liquid. The Macaw is an important emergency response alternative for applications ranging from decontamination to fire suppression.

MERLIN™ DECONTAMINATION HANDCART

The Merlin system is a portable twin-tank, cart-mounted, 57L CAF unit, powered by on-board SCBA air cylinders or by direct air hose feed from an air compressor (minimum 4.7L/sec at 6.9-bar). Merlin systems are capable of drafting directly from remote solution containers for ongoing operations.

The wheeled systems have been outfitted with oversize tires and pintle hook connectors for tow-behind operations. The equipment case quickly detaches from the Merlin cart, and can be used as an independent drafting system that can be hand-carried to limited access sites. The Merlin system can draft from fluid sources up to 30m from the unit.

SWIFTCAF™ ATV CAF DECONTAMINATION SYSTEM

The SwiftCAF ATV system is a small to medium scale, vehicular transportable and highly versatile CAF system designed for mounting onto a variety of platforms including ATVs, trucks, trailers, and similar portable devices.

The SwiftCAF is perfectly suited for rapid incident attack or response, especially in restricted access emergency situations and cross country, off-road and rugged terrain situations. The SwiftCAF has a projection distance of up to 12.2m using a standard smooth bore nozzle.

FALCON™ FIXED SITE DECONTAMINATION SYSTEM

The Falcon Fixed Site Decontamination System (FSDS) is a large-scale CAF truck and trailer system. The powerful 3,900L Falcon FSDS disperses either foams or liquids. The dispersal options include an on-board 30m hose reel, and a trailer-mounted spray bar for uniform ground coverage. The optional truck configuration allows a third dispersal option. A truck-mounted deck gun enables the user to project sustained amounts of liquid or foam without user fatigue.

The Falcon FSDS is designed with drafting capabilities for rapid self-refill of formulas from totes or other bulk storage containers. The Falcon FSDS offers proven large-scale response for decontamination; fire suppression and hazardous materials remediation.

HIGH MOBILITY DECONTAMINATION SYSTEM™

Intelagard’s High Mobility Decontamination System (HMDS) is a Humvee / tactical trailer mounted decontamination system that provides a tactical platform system to optimize the power and maneuverability of the military’s high mobility vehicles.

This powerful system incorporates a 24m hose reel, front and rear-mounted terrain decontamination capabilities, and a roof-mounted monitor for equipment and infrastructure decontamination operations. The terrain decontamination systems can be operated from inside the cab, and the monitor includes both joystick remote operations in cab, as well as wireless remote capabilities for an operator up to 152m from the vehicle.

The HMDS is a large-scale CAF system capable of dispersing powerful decontamination formulations as well as standard hazmat remediation solutions and fire suppression solutions.
