Ahura Corporation specializes in the development of rugged, compact, field-enabled optical systems for the detection, identification and authentication of unknown substances. FIRSTDEFENDER: RAPID IDENTIFICATION OF SUSPECT CHEMICALS

Our flagship product, FirstDefender is a lightweight, MIL-STD-810F rugged Raman instrument providing the immediate identification of anonymous solids, liquids and mixtures even through sealed glass or plastic containers. With a weight of less than four pounds, FirstDefender requires no calibration or consumables and is able to identify substances within 30 seconds.

Based on Ahura's patented optical technology and mixture analysis software, FirstDefender offers superior performance, accuracy and reliability and is extremely straightforward to operate.

In-depth, professional training is available with every product. We offer a wide variety of courses ranging from broad overview to in-depth training.  Every course provides extensive hands-on experience that reinforces the lecture material by simulating real world situations in a classroom environment.

At Ahura we design our products for reliability and subject all chips, modules and assemblies to rigorous testing and burn-in to prevent failures in the field. We also conduct ongoing reliability experiments including accelerated life testing, thermal cycling, drop tests and submersion. The products are monitored before, during and after the testing for complete stability and accuracy.
