The latest version of the combat proven CNR-9000 family, the CNR-9000 HDR tactical radio system provides high speed 115 kbps data communications capabilities on 25 kHz spaced tactical VHF/FM channels.
Tadiran Communications achieved the highest data rate over standard VHF channel currently available on the market through the use of latest sophisticated digital processing algorithms implemented into the radio system based on Software Defined Radio (SDR) concepts.
Presented in multi-configuration - from man-pack to air and shipborne the CNR-9000 HDR enables the latest battlefield requirements such as streaming video on the move. The addition of a Communications Controller creates a full tactical IP radio for data transmission, image transfer and e-mail functionality.
The CNR-9000 HDR is equipped with AGPRS (Automatic GPS Reporter), a major building block in the AW@RENET Situation Awareness solution, and of the C4I system. The CNR-9000 HDR is also interoperable with all existing VHF radios currently in use, and has a version that complies with NATO's 30-108 MHz requirements.
The new generation system has been designed for a wide range of mission requirements across the full spectrum of combat platforms.
The advanced frequency hopping ECCM, data communications and message security COMSEC radio has a multitude of unique features. An automatic synchronization technique eliminates the need for a master station and provides hassle-free late entry connection. The inherent orthogonal and synchronized frequency-hopping capability with inter-net synchronization provides superior performance able to defeat powerful EW systems.
Radio interference is reduced to a minimum, even in dense radio environments. Powerful error detection and correction codes and automatic data rate adaptation assure error free data communications at various data rates.
The COMSEC digital encryption feature ensures exceptional voice and data message security.
The CNR-9000 HDR high data rate version is backwards compatible with the previous generation CNR-900 family and old and new generation vehicular intercom systems. It interfaces with a wide range of ancillaries and peripherals.
The CNR-9000 HDR's high data rate modular design enables it to be used in every operational scenario as it is available in a range of manpack, vehicular and fixed-station configurations, as well as compact versions for easy installation on tanks, APCs and helicopters.
As an additional option, the CNR-9000 family high data rate can be provided with a built-in GPS and/or built-in Vocoder.
