STG media systems are specialists in the specification, design and supply of portable public address (PA) systems, mass notification systems, acoustic hailing devices (AHD), loud hailers, ship hailing systems, megaphones, mobile loudspeakers, professional audio equipment, and automatic language translators.

Our products can either be off-the-shelf or designed to meet individual specifications. All of our products are ruggedised and have been designed to meet the requirements of some of the world’s most demanding environments, including desert and maritime conditions.

Battery powered PA systems and loud hailers

STG have particular expertise in the design and production of battery-powered, incredibly light, loud, and intelligible public address systems and loud hailers. The Mega-Voice MV-LSA-1009, for example, weighing just 8Kg, is capable of a sound pressure level (SPL) of 131dB (producing intelligible speech at up to 800m) from and incredibly small input power of just 30W (a third of a standard light bulb). Our ground breaking acoustic technology, in this specialist area, enables us to produce a range of unparalleled products in terms of their intelligibility, loudness and portability.

Coupled with our automatic language translators our public address systems give the user the ability to speak in English and address a crowd, of almost any size, in up to 55 pre-programmed target languages. Additional software allows you to build your own custom library of phrases in any language.

Our equipment is currently in service with the UK Ministry of Defence, German Army, Austrian Army, NATO Kosovo Force (KFOR), Latvian National Armed Forces, UK police, UK fire service, ship riders and other emergency responders.

Our range of portable public address systems and loud hailers includes the following products.

Mega-Voice MV-LSA-1009: an amazing portable (considering its volume and intelligibility) loud hailer / public address system. Built to your own specification, it can include wireless or cable remote-control, sirens, alarms, inputs for PRR radio and MP3 player for ad-hoc recording / transmission. Weight 8Kg. SPL 131dB @ 1m.

MegaVox: drill sergeants, FBI agents, firemen, policemen, and the US Army all choose the MegaVox Pro. This PA system delivers 124dB SPL of clear speech. Weight 6.8Kg. Mains and long-life battery operation and UHF wireless-microphone options.

Fender Passport P-10W: The Passport P10 is a highly-portable personal sound system ideal for paging applications, and smaller crowd communications and emergency response. Weight 2.95Kg. UHF wireless-microphone technology. Battery and mains power.
