Inertial navigation systems
iXBlue provides land-based military and civilian forces with accurate navigation systems that can withstand the rugged conditions of military operations. The company produces its own ADVANS series of inertial navigation systems (INS) in three different models: the ADVANS URSA, the ADVANS LYRA and the ADVANS VEGA.
The ADVANS URSA is a tactical land INS with a 4mm heading accuracy. The system is highly precise, with 0.5% of distance travelled (DT) position accuracy.
The ADVANS LYRA provides continuous, instant position and orientation support for tactical vehicles, observation and weapon turrets, radars, missile alignment, mortars and artillery launchers. The system is accurate to 1mm, robust against GPS drop-out, requires little maintenance and is qualified to operate in military environments.
The ADVANS VEGA INS provides constant, instant position and orientation support for radars, topographic survey, missile alignment and artillery howitzers and multiple rocket launchers. The system is accurate to 3mm, robust to GPS drop-out, requires very little maintenance and can be used in military environments, including launchers such as 155mm howitzers.
The iXBlue two-axis POS-TEOS pan-and-tilt platform is designed for surveillance, detection and communication applications on land and naval applications. The camera's turret integrates optical, laser or antenna systems with very accurate motion on its two automatic rotating axes. This system is designed, developed and integrated with iXBlue's latest technologies of control and automatic functions of tracking and pointing.
iXBlue's two-axis POS-NEOS pan-and-tilt series is designed for land and naval applications for surveillance, detection and communication applications. The system contains a turret integrated with optical, laser or antenna systems that provide accurate motion on two automatic rotating axes.
The last model in the series, the POS-KHEOPS, is a high-precision pan-and-tilt camera. It is embedded for 40kg to 100kg payloads.
Positioners for military operations
iXBlue's positioners are used by militaries worldwide for their accuracy and reliability. iXBlue produces the POS series of positioners in three models. The iXBlue two-axis POS-KHETY direct drive positioner contains an optical, laser, telescope or antenna system in its turret for land and naval applications. The system also contains two automatic rotating axes, which combined with the turret are used for trajectory, surveillance, detection and communication operations.
The iXBlue two-axis POS-NEKAO high precision positioner is designed for land and naval applications. This turret integrates optical, laser or antenna systems with very accurate motion for surveillance, detection or communication applications. This system, based on iXBlue mechatronics know-how, is designed, developed and integrated with the latest technologies for control and automatic functions of tracking and pointing.
The iXBlue two-axis POS-SIPTAH is a compact, direct-drive, high-precision positioner for land and naval areas. POS-SIPTAH is specially designed to embed optical devices and antennas, or any specific payload. The direct drive in particular is designed for high bandwidth and highly dynamic environments.
