Accusonic Products - Military Communication Kits

Accusonic Products is a manufacturer of rugged voice communication and signaling products for use in hostile environments. In our New York state factories we design, manufacture and test amplified loudspeaker systems, communication kits, signaling horns, dynamic microphones and earphones, gas block cables and audio transformers, and provide environmental test services per Mil-STD-810.

Our product designs and manufacturing processes are conducted in accordance with military and government specifications. Our contract history includes designs and supply of loudspeaker systems for major programs such as IRIS (Canada), BOWMAN (UK), VIS and SINCGARS (US).

LOUDSPEAKER CABINET SYSTEMS

We understand the importance of clear communication among military personnel, and this appreciation for instant, highly intelligible crew contacts at all times forms the constant basis for our acoustic products. Loudspeaker cabinet systems for use in severe environments are available in various configurations with features such as:

LOUDSPEAKER DRIVERS

We manufacture blast and immersion-resistant loudspeaker drivers in diameters from 3in to 6in. Models include the M12606-01, M12606-02 and the LS184/AIC. Additionally, we produce high-output drivers and lightweight drivers, which can be customized to meet customer specifications.

MICROPHONES AND EARPHONES

Dynamic earphones and noise-canceling microphones are available in various impedances.

IN-HOUSE ENVIRONMENTAL TESTING

Within our in-house facilities we conduct vigorous product testing, to ensure safety and reliability for our customers. Tests include humidity, high and low-temperature, salt-spray, gun-blast, immersion, 202F vibration and transportation tests IAW Mil-STD-810 and Def Stan 00-35 standards. Additional product tests include attenuation, intelligibility, total harmonic distortion, noise cancellation, sensitivity and frequency response, and magnetic strength.
