In addition, it has an integrated Iridium satellite phone for global voice and SMS communication, wireless panic alarm and re-chargeable battery pack that provides up to 72h endurance in stand-alone operation.

Gryphon is supplied in a compact, rugged, waterproof and dustproof case and is designed to withstand the rigors of travel in remote, hostile environments. Because it is completely autonomous, the Gryphon avoids the cost and complexity of installation in aircraft, vessels or vehicles.

FasTracker Personnel is a compact and autonomous GPS tracking device, enabling individual tracking of personnel in any part of the world, in real time. The unit can be worn discretely in a backpack or clipped to a webbing belt, and can also provide temporary vehicle or aircraft tracking capability. A wireless distress alarm button provides enhanced safety for the user, and will deliver an instant distress message via email and SMS from anywhere in the world. The unit enables constant location visibility of personnel in remote and potentially hazardous or high-risk parts of the world, such as military and security personnel, aid workers, solo sailors, hikers and first responders. The device is extremely robust, waterproof, dustproof and will even float, making it ideal for demanding applications where protection from the elements is critical.
