MILITARY SATELLITE COMMUNICATIONSACORDE has a wide range of military satellite communication products from L-band to Ka-band, components for earth stations, transceivers, BUCs, frequency converters, SSPAs, LNBs, LNAs from S-band to C-band, X-band, Ku-band and Ka-band. Powers up to 300W in C-band and X-band and 20W in Ka-band are available. AIRCRAFT RADIO COMMUNICATIONSACORDE is also a provider of components for aircraft radio-communications fulfilling MIL-STD-810E or MIL-STD-167. SATCOM ON THE MOVESatcom on the move for trains combines a bidirectional satellite link with a distribution system on the train to provide Internet access to the passengers of high speed trains and high data rate communications to terrestrial vehicles. Satcom on the move satellite communications system can be used for high-speed data communications for broadband services (internet, multimedia) by passengers, as well as railway control and telemetry applications. Satcom on the move also has applications for military vehicles. ACORDE has developed X-band and Ku-band antenna satellite systems combined with terrestrial broadband communications, such as WiMAX, to provide communications to military convoys on the move and to military forces deployed in locations where there is no communication infrastructure in place. KA-BAND COMPONENTSKa-Band components are a specialty of ACORDE, including BUCs and SSPAs with output power of 2W, 4W, 10W and 20W. LNBs for civil and military frequency bands and frequency converters are also offered. WIRELESS SENSORSACORDE Research has an intense engagement with different fields of telecommunications ranging from space and aeronautics to homeland security, wireless sensors and next generation radio-communications systems. In European, ACORDE is involved in projects including the V, VI and VII framework, mainly related to WLAN, WPAN and beyond 3G, but also in applications like wireless sensors for aeronautics and space.
