Global security specialist Allen-Vanguard will showcase the latest addition to its family of ROVs (Remotely Operated Vehicles), the digital Vanguard, at the ISNR exhibition running from 2 – 5 March 2008 in Abu Dhabi.
Delegates will be able to experience first-hand the ROV's combined touch screen and hard controls that enable simultaneous manipulation of all features, including lights and cameras. The digital command console brings 'plug and play' accessory functionality and its intuitive design means straightforward tasks can be mastered within 30 minutes. The console can also be used as a laptop, allowing operators to compile reports and embed images recorded during incidents.
Experts from counter-IED (Improvised Explosive Device) specialist HMS will be available on stand 327 and samples of Allen-Vanguard's signature HAL® kits for semi-remote access in high risk search and Improvised Explosive Device Disposal (IEDD) will be on display.
"Our unique combination of sophisticated equipment and in-theatre experience puts us at the cornerstone of homeland security," says Glyn Buckler, sales director at Allen-Vanguard. "ISNR 2008 is the ideal opportunity for us to present our latest counter-terrorism products and services to the Middle East region."
