Allen-Vanguard Expands into the Middle-East

Allen-Vanguard, the global security specialist, strategically expanded its operations by opening a new office in the Middle East (in the Sultanate of Oman), in February 2007. The new site is being managed by Graham Stradling, director of Middle East operations.
Allen-Vanguard is opening the new office as a cost-effective means to raise its presence in the area. Personal contact is an important part of doing business in the Arab world, and having a local headquarters will help improve overall customer service. All of Allen-Vanguard's products and services will be available to government security agencies, both in Oman and throughout the Gulf region.
Graham stated: "This is an ideal move for me. The Arabic working week is from Saturday to Wednesday, which means that travelling from the UK on business often involves working weekends. The new office will also mean less travelling for our Middle Eastern clients, who will now have a more localised supplier they can trust and gain support from and enable Allen-Vanguard to offer a great level of support."
Roy Peers-Smith, managing director of Allen-Vanguard, added: "Graham has been travelling to the Middle East on business for the last 22 years. With the contacts he has fostered in the region, it made sense to establish a presence that can be used to showcase our range of expertise and knowledge to a wider audience.
