Our Under Vehicle Inspection (UVI) system provides a clear, high contrast real-time video inspection of the undercarriage of cars, vans and trucks at entry points in half the time of the standard inspection mirror search, with a higher percentage of target acquisitions in extended government field tests.

Operational in all climates, with quick installation and easy operation, the portable systems can be set up in under half and hour. Hundreds are in use at secure facilities worldwide.

FIXED SITE UNDER-VEHICLE INSPECTION SYSTEM

LEA's new WP-5590R waterproof series under-vehicle inspection systems provide excellent quality color video of the undercarriage of vehicles at entry gates or designated inspection areas.

The system is easily transported and can quickly be put into operation, or it can be imbedded into the road surface for a permanent placement. Positioned at a controlled entry point to the facility, all vehicle traffic can be directed over the Model WP-5590R's inspection ramp.

Within seconds, the undercarriage can be viewed for bombs, attached packages and other contraband. Video images of the undercarriage can be instantly replayed and reviewed with the built-in jog shuttle VCR.

EXPLOSIVE DETECTION KIT

The EDK123 (Explosive Detection Kit) provides a fast reliable field test for detection of trace nitrates that are found in explosives including TNT, dynamite, Semtex, RDX, and ammonium nitrates. The EDK123 test kits are currently being used by American troops in Afghanistan and Iraq.
