Hollandia - Forged and Machined Components

Hollandia BV is a leading Dutch company in the field of steel structures and machining works. One of our plants, located in Krimpen aan den IJssel, produces parts for the world's leading system houses who specialize in the manufacturing of battle tanks, non-armoured vehicles, tracks and so on. Our facility produces a variety of forged and machined parts including track parts, covering lids and torsion tubes for armoured vehicles and shell parts for ammunition.

Our forging plant made a modest beginning in 1928 with the manufacturing of hot-forged rivets. Besides the manufacturing of standard bolts and nuts, we have now developed into a well-equipped plant manufacturing a wide variety of forged products, with subsequent heat treatment and machine finishing of the product if required.

Amongst others, the defence industry has been served by Hollandia for more than 20 years.

FORGED PRODUCTS DESIGN

Our in house engineering department is equipped with the most up to date software (including CAD/CAM) for designing and adjusting forged products. With our know-how we produce forged products that are fit for eventual machining purposes whilst saving materials at the same time.

PRODUCTION CAPACITY

Our plant in Krimpen aan den IJssel employs approximately 60 personnel and is equipped to achieve an annual production volume of about 5000 tons of hot-forged products, of which some 30% can be given a subsequent machine finish.

• Heat treatment: quenching and tempering

QUALITY/SAFETY

All our products meet the highest test requirements and have made Hollandia famous throughout the world as a manufacturer of quality products. All Hollandia locations have both ISO 9001/9002 certificate and a VCA**-Safety Certificate. At Krimpen we have also been accredited by a number of other international bodies - TÜV: AD/Wo/W7 (for applications in pressure vessels) and PRI: FQA-approval.
