04 November 2009

Crimson Trace is pleased to introduce two new front activated Lasergrips for the SIG P226, and P228/P229. The new Lasergrips incorporate a one-piece wrap-around grip style with a large front activation switch. MSRP for both models will be $329.00.

The new LG-426 and LG-429 Lasergrips are contoured to be both comfortable and secure in the hand while shooting with or without gloves. The aggressively textured polymer side panels are uniquely patterned to optimize the contact of the palm onto the pistol and are connected together with a durable rubber strap which provides even more grip while shooting. Inside these robust Lasergrips is a storage slot for an adjustment wrench. The wrench is not only held in place by the form-fitted slot but a magnet also provides for extra retention of the sight adjusting tool.

The CR2032 batteries providing over two hours of illumination and the shelf life of these batteries is five years. As with all Lasergrips the red targeting dot is user adjustable for windage and elevation. There is a master on/off switch on the left side of the Lasergrips that is inset into the grip panel.

Installation is extremely simple with the new SIG Lasergrips. Simply remove the stock grips and attach the Lasergrips using the stock screws and washers. The Lasergrips are pre-sighted at the factory for 50 feet but can be changed by the shooter by turning the elevation and windage adjustment screws located on the laser diode housing. All Lasergrips come with an accessory pack that contains batteries, hex wrenches for user adjustability, a cleaning cloth and several cleaning swabs. A three-year warranty is standard.

Crimson Trace is the only manufacturer of grip-integrated laser sighting systems. Police, all branches of the U.S. Military, and responsible citizens worldwide use patented Lasergrips. Crimson Trace Lasergrips are recommended as an essential accessory by some of the world’s top firearm trainers.
