New Modular Vertical Foregrip from Crimson Trace Now Available

04 November 2009

Crimson Trace announces a revolutionary modular vertical foregrip that utilizes both a red laser and a white light in one unit. Both light sources follow the Crimson Trace mantra of instinctive activation for ease of use. Suggested retail price is $479.00.

The MVF-515 brings speed, accuracy and effectiveness of heads-up sighting to those that require the tactical advantage obtained with this new product. The MVF-515 provides three tools in a single, modular package. The polymer grip panels are mounted onto an aircraft grade, 6061-T-6 aluminum, hard-anodized tang and contain an activation switch on each side that controls the light and the laser independently.

The MVF-515 can be programmed in seconds for momentary laser or light, strobe laser or light, or constant-on. The 150/200 Lumen white light is replaceable. Two CR-123 batteries provide over 4 hours of light illumination and a minimum of 48 hours of laser illumination. The MVF is anchored in place by a two-screw rail mount that fits all standard Picatinny rails. All electrical components fit into the Lasergrip, which are ergonomically designed for comfort and built for hard use. The texture of the MVF-515 is aggressive and can be used with or without gloves. Rubber overmolding covers both the activation buttons and the master on/off switch, providing improved grip while shooting. Batteries and electronics are kept dry and functional by a water resistant O-ring built into the grip panels and butt-plate of the foregrip.

“We’ve all seen the advantages of sight-through red-dot sights. The Crimson Trace MVF-515 takes the concept one step further by allowing you full heads-up sighting with your rifle, which is necessary in close quarters conflicts,” said Lew Danielson, President of Crimson Trace. All Lasergrips and Laserguards have both windage and elevation adjustments for shooters to make adjustments on their own. All Lasergrips come with an accessory pack that contains batteries, hex wrenches for laser adjustments, a cleaning cloth and several cleaning swabs. A three-year warranty is standard.

Lasergrips are made in the United States of America. Crimson Trace is the world’s only manufacturer of grip-integrated laser sighting systems. Police, all branches of the US Military, and responsible citizens’ worldwide use patented Lasergrips. Crimson Trace Lasergrips are recommended as an essential accessory by some of the world’s top firearm instructors.
