We specialise in supplying ammunition, parachutes and releases, armoured cars, small arms, large arms, aircraft spare-parts, military electronic-equipment, safety equipment, ballistic helmets and vests, army uniforms, bulk fuels and shipment, scanning devices, and NBC-filtration systems for shelters, vehicles, containers, hospitals and tents.

PARACHUTE ASSEMBLIES AND RELEASES

Universal Defense provides parachutes, personnel parachutes, parachute assemblies, automatic sensing devices, ripcord releases, cargo releases, barometric-gas initiators and halo / halo systems, test equipment, and altitude-test chambers.

MILITARY ELECTRONIC AND AVIONIC SYSTEMS

Universal Defense provides and repairs electronic and avionic equipment (including communication, navigation and radar), and ground-based electronic systems – and designs and manufactures electronic assemblies – for the following aircraft:

We provide repair equipment for RF, communications and various airborne power-supplies, and production-related items (including oscilloscopes, various micro-optics, multi-meters, load banks, frequency counters, network analysers, bonders and soldering stations, flight controls, hydraulics, landing gear, and engines).

We have expertise in manufacturing, planning, scheduling, preproduction inspections, in-process inspections and final inspections, with depots for F-5, F-15, F-16, C-130 and C-141 aircraft; APG66, APG68, ALQ135, ALR56C and ALR56M fire-control radars; and ARC164, ARC186 and ARC187 communication systems.

AERIAL TOW TARGET

Universal Defense supplies the Commerce Overseas TDU-10/B aerial tow target, which provides pilots with advanced aerial gunnery training, including precise tracking, range and overtake estimations, accurate firing parameters, cockpit switch manipulation, actual gun firing, and verification of gun operation, sight systems and gun foresight accuracy, as well as 'real time' experience of the effects of firing their guns while manoeuvring toward their target.

We provide over 36,000 military equipment spare part Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) tools. Using the latest manufacturing technology enables rapid, customised additional-tooling or repair solutions.

ARMS AND AMMUNITION

We supply a full range of small, medium and large-calibre weapons and mortars, ammunition from 0.22mm LR to 155mm HEI, grenades (smoke and shrapnel), rocket launchers, bayonets, customised survival-knives, uniforms, webbing, footwear, body armour, used and reconditioned tanks, and self-propelled guns.

RADAR SURVEILLANCE SYSTEMS

Our high-technology total security solution radar systems provide 24-hour unprecedented target recognition, making them ideal for military, force protection, border and perimeter surveillance, and port, airport and national strategic-site security.

We also supply unmanned security-solutions, autonomous surveillance and observation, target tracking, surveillance software, and personnel and vehicle detection systems.

NBC-FILTRATION SYSTEMS

Our world-renowned NBC-filtration systems protect against radiological, biological and chemical weapons, toxic industrial substances, and side effects such as explosions and blasts. Our highly efficient ventilation-systems supply clean air at all times.

NBC-protection systems can be used for bomb-shelter protection; building, vehicle, container and mobile shelters; NBC-protected tents; and isolation-room systems.

BALLISTIC-PROTECTIVE FIBRE

Universal Defense's versatile ballistic-protective high-tech fibre can be used in protective clothing, cut-resistant gloves, ballistic vests and helmets, tarpaulins, sailcloth, vessels, airplanes, buildings, composites, conveyor belts, tyres, hoses, V-belts, transmission belts, gaskets, brake linings, clutch facings, optical cables, thermoplastic pipes, and offshore-industry cables.

ARMOURED PERSONNEL CARRIERS
