Ecolog is the international specialist for mobile infrastructure services. We provide tailor-made logistics and service solutions to armed forces and organisations in crisis zones. Our rapidly deployable buildings and facilities have been utilised internationally since our formation in 1998.

Two main areas to which we are deployed are Afghanistan and Iraq; we can be trusted to meet the building and facility-related challenges faced within escalating crises. We are active in more than 100 locations in Afghanistan and Iraq in support of foreign military and civilian organisations.

LONG-TERM MILITARY STRUCTURES

The armed forces have differing needs at different times. These can include the creation of long-term structures or the repair of damaged buildings. We have experience in building or restoring key facilities, such as barracks, mess halls, kitchens, recreational areas and briefing and ops rooms. We can provide permanent or prefabricated structures.

Our infrastructural development work involves decisive tasks: extending road networks, developing medical facilities or schools, and aiding the recovery of residential zones damaged by conflict or natural disaster.

RAPIDLY DEPLOYABLE CONTAINERS

Our convenient containers combine comfort with mobility. Containers are extremely versatile and can be modified to suit many purposes. They can also be rapidly deployed. Containers can be arranged to meet a wide range of customer requirements, offering flexible working quarters, accommodation, storage or other roles in single or multi-storey modules.

We recognise the importance of living in a degree of comfort, even in the most challenging environments. Our container system can offer fully equipped medical wards, hotels, restaurants, Internet cafés, call centres, gyms and other recreation rooms.

WASTE MANAGEMENT

Wherever people reside in close proximity, cleanliness is vital. One of the first steps towards this is professional waste disposal. We provide waste containers to meet this requirement, and stock a wide variety of containers in various sizes.

There are various types of waste, which must be handled separately and with care. In particular, hazardous waste requires special treatment, according to national and international requirements and regulation.

We have a wide range of specialised containers to handle liquid or solid hazardous waste (e.g. HazMatCon/DRUMS). We can also advise on specific disposal needs, suggesting solutions specific to each situation.

ON SITE LAUNDRY SERVICE

We guarantee the provision of clean clothing to each site we construct. Therefore, we have developed a professional laundry service that operates efficiently and effectively in any environment. We have our own power sources available, and ensure our operations run smoothly.

We always have reserve machine capacity to handle peak loads, with technical staff on permanent stand-by to ensure our generators, washing machines, and dryers are operating to their optimum efficiency. This service operates on the principle of one laundry bag per soldier, with one machine and dryer per bag. This ensures the highest level of hygiene and minimum confusion.

Special cleaning treatments for contaminated clothes or hospital laundry are always performed in a separate area of the facility.
