Airlift Technologies International (ATI) is the world's largest and most experienced, government-approved, aerial delivery systems manufacturer. ATI specializes in the design, development and manufacturing of aerial delivery systems equipment, complete airdrop load design, airdrop qualification testing, component systems integration, airdrop training, Type-V, DRAS and 88in wide aerial delivery airdrop platforms, outriggers and pallets. ATI produces and / or supplies OEM certified, aerial delivery systems ancillary-support items, such as Container Delivery Systems (CDS-A7A, A21, A-22, A-23), Center Vertical Rail Systems (CVRS), Buffer Stop Assemblies (BSA), cargo parachute releases, (M-1, M-2), mechanical parachute dereefers (DM-500, DM-2, M-22, DM1001), Extraction Force Transfer Coupling (EFTC), parachutes and Helicopter Under-Slung Lifting Equipment (HUSLE). TYPE-V, DRAS (DUAL ROW AIRDROP SYSTEM C-17) AND 88in WIDE AIRDROP PLATFORMSATI is the world's largest supplier of airdrop platforms to the US Government and NATO customers. The 108in wide Type-V, the DRAS and Type-V 88in wide version and the 54in wide airdrop platforms, all manufactured by ATI, are modular by design and are produced from large aluminum extrusions. These platforms are used for LVAD (Low-Velocity Air Drop) in the airdropping of loads ranging from 2,500lbs to 42,000lbs, from utility-transport, rear-ramp and door aircraft utilizing the 463L Dual-Rail Cargo-Handling standard. The platforms are also LAPE (Low Altitude Parachute Extraction) qualified and when manufactured in the 'vented' version, can be used for airdropping large RIBs, (Rigid-Hull Inflatable Boats). The platforms are available in lengths from 8ft to 32ft. The Type-V platform is capable of platform suspension to 28,000lbs with 40,000lbs limits for special applications use. AIRDROP ENGINEERINGATI is the world leader in airdrop engineering, design and development. For customer confidentiality ATI retains a permanent engineering department with full-time, in-house capabilities. Our own full-time staff perform all technical work with no subcontractors or part-time consultant services. Daily application work areas are in air-transport / airdrop systems design and development, in-aircraft air-transport equipment, cradles, restraint systems, airdrop rigging systems design, airdrop extraction, dynamics analysis, airdrop trajectory analysis, landing impact shock mitigation dynamics analysis, design of helicopter external transport sling systems, ground handling equipment and structural analysis of mechanical designs. ATI has generated government-contracted substantiation reports to Federal Aviation regulations, parts 23, 25, and 27 standards when stress-analyzing and documenting extensive airframe modifications to heavy transport and light aircraft. ATI often writes its own custom dynamics analysis programs for equipment, aircraft loading and unloading kinematics, aircraft cargo extraction dynamics, parachute trajectory analysis, cargo water-entry dynamics and land cargo mitigation dynamics. PARACHUTE AND AIRDROP TRAINING PROGRAMSATI's team of expert instructors offer a total systems approach to training, from basic parachute packing to the full operational airdrop capabilities of your C-130 or other transport aircraft. ATI is one of the few organizations approved, capable and qualified to train pilots, navigators, loadmasters, technicians, ground-support personnel, load-riggers and parachute-riggers in all facets of aerial delivery. Most of the equipment offered by ATI can be used for cross training on such aircraft as the C-130 Hercules, C-17, DC-4 Caribou, DC-5 Buffalo, C-160, G-222, CASA-235, CASA-295 or CASA-212. Most equipment is tailored for use without modification and a systems package and training program assures maximum usable payload and cube. All training is in accordance with US Air Force military procedures. PARACHUTES, MECHANICAL PARACHUTE DEREEFERS, TEXTILES AND MISCELLANEOUS PRODUCTSAs an aerial delivery systems integrator, ATI takes full responsibility to analyze customer needs, define equipment requirements and supply the total systems package to include all ancillary products. ATI accepts all equipment after-sales service and support responsibility to assure customer confidence for all systems delivered under contract. Equipment offered and supplied by ATI includes cargo parachutes, mechanical parachute dereefers, extraction parachutes, special operations personnel free-fall parachutes, extraction slings, cargo and suspension slings, containers, helicopter slings, tie-down devices and all associated consumable materials. Airlift Technologies International is an ISO 9002 certified company.
