MILITARY HOSE ASSEMBLIES AND HYDRAULIC SYSTEMS

The Military Business Operation of JGB is a manufacturer and integrator of specialty systems, products and services for DoD and NATO customers. This operation involves engineering, development, production, assembly integration and test of products ranging from traditional hose assemblies and parts to electromechanical and hydraulic specialty system requirements.

Specialty system examples include:

FORWARD AREA WATER POINT SUPPLY SYSTEMS (FAWPSS)

The US Army Troop Support Command contracted with JGB Enterprises, Inc. to produce approximately 300 Forward Area Water Point Supply Systems (FAWPSS).

These systems involved the sourcing and manufacture of specialized assembly components and parts configured to US Army specifications for use by forward area Army personnel.

JGB's contract called for the production, component sourcing, parts design and manufacture, assembly, in-process government inspection, test, source inspection, and packaging for delivery. Contract technical requirements, cost and delivery challenges, which involved more than 300 systems, were successfully completed.

HARVEST FALCON WATER DISTRIBUTION SUBSYSTEMS

This multi-million dollar contract involved the production of Harvest Falcon water distribution subsystems under US Air Force contract.

The Harvest Falcon system is a transportable system used to accommodate USAF personnel and required operational facilities when deployed in offshore environments.

This system includes living accommodations, aircraft flight line facilities, air contingency hospital operations, specialized clinics, and administrative support functions. JGB delivered initial water distribution subsystems required for the critical early deployment to sites.

FAASV CONVERSION KITS

A prime example of our capabilities involved a multi-million dollar contract with the US Army Tank Automotive Command (TACOM). This contract involved the preparation of kits used in conjunction with the conversion of the M992 Field Artillery Ammunitions Support Vehicle (FAASV).

Each FAASV conversion kit contained more than 500 unique components and parts in various quantities. Components ranged from radiators, alternators, and electrical control boxes, to a substantial number of parts such as nuts, washers and screws. Many other parts were either manufactured by JGB or sourced.

COLD WATER SHAVING STAND

JGB was awarded the contract to supply the military with cold water shaving stands. Each Stand consists of three stainless steel shaving stations able to attach to local power and plumbing facilities.

JGB sourced the parts, manufactured the units, packaged and shipped them to the customer.

BACK PRESSURE REGULATOR UNITS

JGB's back-pressure regulator unit assemblies function to return water, pumped by a 50gpm pump, in excess of consumption back to a collapsible fabric tank. This maintains a constant water pressure for varying consumption rates.

XMTR PRESSURIZATION SET

JGB was approached with a concept for charging electronic jamming pods with N2 gas. Electronic jamming pods used on the Navy's AE-6 Prowler aircraft require charging with N2 gas to augment electric circuit insulation. From the original concept, JGB designed, developed, tested, demonstrated, specified, manufactured, delivered, and continues to support the XMTR pressurization set.

HOSE REPAIR KIT

Our engineered and patented product is the 'clamp of choice' in the theatre of operations. Our troops are able to install our j-clamps and j-connector-mender in a few minutes.
