AxleTech International to Enter Commercial Vehicle Aftermarket

AxleTech International, a global manufacturer of axles, suspensions, brakes and aftermarket parts for off-highway vehicles, today announced it will begin producing Original Equipment (OE) aftermarket products for on-highway commercial and specialty vehicle needs.
Customers will now have a choice for genuine original equipment (OE) aftermarket products for their driveline and undercarriage needs. Products include a broad selection of axle, driveline, brake and wheelend products. The initial targeted applications include heavy truck, bus and coach as well as specialty vehicles.
"This is a logical extension of our success in the off-highway markets given the commonality of our off-highway products with the requirements of the on-highway commercial vehicle market," said Bill Gryzenia, AxleTech's Vice President – Aftermarket Business Development.

AxleTech's Commercial Vehicle Aftermarket group will be headed by Tina Alread, a 20-year veteran in the Heavy Duty industry who recently joined AxleTech from Federal Mogul.
