Military front axles

Meritor® Front RF-611 Series military axles are engineered and built for the extreme demands of the military duty cycle. Deliver optimum maneuverability with a 35° – 38° turn angle and excellent ground clearance for weight ratings up to 23,000 pounds.

Military tandem axles

Meritor® Tandem RT-611 Series military axles for use in heavily armored vehicles take performance to the next level by exceeding the demanding requirements of the existing Family of Medium Tactical Vehicles (FMTV). Weight ratings up to 23,000lb.

Military single axles

Meritor® single RS-611 Series military axles are bevel gear wheel-end reduction axles, engineered and built for use in heavily armored vehicles. They exceed the requirements of the existing Family of Medium Tactical Vehicles (FMTV).

Military-grade transfer cases

The Meritor MTC-3206M military-grade transfer case is designed for Joint Light Tactical Vehicle (JLTV) applications to minimize weight. The transfer case is currently in use on the Future Tactical Track System-Utility Vehicle (FTTS-UV).

TACTX™ dual air spring

TACTX™ single air spring

• Designed for rear axle applications of 4x4 vehicles where the turn angle is restricted to 15°
• Provides significant weight savings vs. steel coil suspensions

TACTX™ single coil

• Provides maximum system reliability and durability for use in armored personnel carriers
• Models available with drum brakes or air disc brakes

TACTX™ air strut

• Ideal for lightweight tactical vehicles
• Combines high performance with the lightest-weight suspension
• Provides both on-center and off-center air strut positions

TACTX™ high-mobility independent suspension system modules

• Active Damping by Active Shock Inc. provides full range of active damping to improve ride quality and mobility for tactical vehicles, combat vehicles and armored personnel carriers
• Suspension Height Control module provides automatic and manual ride height adjustment
• Differential Carrier module provides a flexible differential carrier platform with compact "pot-style" carrier significantly optimized for advanced suspension performance
• Central Tire Inflation (CTI) system module allows the driver to selectively inflate/deflate the tire pressure to preprogrammed settings, while monitoring tire pressure at regular intervals
• Corner module combines corner suspension bracket, upper and lower control arms, air or coil springs, struts and wheel-end assembly in one concise package
• Bevel-Geared Wheel-End assembly module includes 64mm light Quadraulic™ brake and vented rotor, forged aluminum hub and cast aluminum cover, plus military application-proven bearings, seals and bevel gears (ABS and CTIS ready)
