Air Rover Announces MIL-STD-810F Certification For Ultra-Light / High Temperature Units

13 February 2007

Air Rover, manufacturer of Environmental Air Conditioning Units (ECUs) announced today that their most popular ultra-light high temperature series units have been certified to MIL-STD-810F standard for environmental and vibration testing. Certification was achieved after extensive testing by environmental testing laboratories in Dallas, Texas.

According to Kelly Stiles, Vice-President of sales and marketing, these newly ruggedized units were designed by Air Rover Engineering to improve reliability and address market force requirements.

"When we survey existing ECU advertising from other manufacturers," said Stiles, "we noticed a number of them saying their units are 'qualified' to the MIL-STD. Air Rover units are [now also thus] certified."
