Specialty vehicle manufacturer, Medical Coaches recently delivered unique, one-of-a kind, X-ray, drug screen, audiometric screening, and health exam trailers to the Houston Area Safety Council (HASC) located in Pasadena, Texas.
HASC is the largest non-profit, safety council in the world and an innovator in their field. They specialise in background, substance abuse, health screening, security screening employees for contractors and owners who do not possess in-house capabilities.
Typically each employee was brought off the job site to access these services. With the help of custom-built, specialised mobile units they now can bring their services directly to the job site saving hundreds of lost man hours
Each coach is unique in its own right. The first unit built was a small, towed, X-ray clinic. The second and third units are also towed trailers containing specialised drug screen bathrooms, audiometric screening booths, pulmonary function testing areas and EBT (evidential breath testing) cubicles. The last of the one-of-a-kind clinics was a large semi-trailer, with expandable sides. This coach has a reception, lab and multiple examination clinics on board.
The coaches are intended to travel hundreds of miles throughout the State of Texas providing screening and health services to employees at their job sites. The screening and treatment services include, E.B.T testing, drug screening, X-ray, acute illnesses, D.O.T physicals, electrocardiograms, influenza vaccinations, injuries, laboratory testing, pulmonary function testing, urgent care, background screening, audiometric testing and respirator fit testing.
