Westlink Engineering was established in 1994 as a manufacturing company which specialised in the fabrication of sheet-metal equipment from stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel for both military forces, and the petrochemical, food processing, electrical and electronic, and engineering service industries.

FIELD BULK WATER HEATER AZ110 MK3

The Aztec 110 mark 3 is a propane or butane field water heater originally designed for the Australian Department of Defence.

The Aztec field water heater has the ability to heat 80L of water in 45 minutes, making it ideal for field kitchens and field hospitals in remote headquarters. It also has the potential to be used in emergency situations – such as when towns are evacuated due to flood, fire or other disasters – where boiled water is essential.

COMPACT FOUR-PART WATER HEATER

The compact water-heater unit comes in four parts:

• Water tank and flue: item no. AZ112, NATO stock no. NSN 4410-66-145-6676
• Burner: item no. AZ110 Mk3, NATO stock no. NSN 4410-66-145-6675
• Cradle stand: item no. AZ111, NATO stock no. NSN 4410-66-145-6677

The water tank is constructed in stainless steel approximately 600mm high by 400mm in diameter, complete with a flue which dismantles and stores inside the tank.

The burner unit comes complete with its own compact and robust stainless-steel case, therefore permitting safe and economical storage whilst being able to endure any field requirements.

The cradle-stand holds the tank and has provision to slide the burner unit in and out on a rack fixture, all constructed in stainless steel.

An additional stand is available, complete with provision for the burner to slide in and out on a rack fixture, allowing for small food pots to be heated. All units are constructed of stainless steel, and collapsible for easy storage. Please note, however, that this should not be used as a barbecue plate.

CERTIFIED FIELD WATER HEATERS

All field water heaters are painted heat-resistant matt black, and are approved to Australian gas assessment certificate appliance number 6574. Their EU / UK-approved appliance number is pending.

Westlink Group manufactures various stainless steel, aluminium and mild-steel components for military vehicles, and has wide fabrication ability, from chassis brackets to electronic and electrical cabinets and racks. We can deliver both one-off and multiple-part runs, and have supplied customers such as Tenix Defence, Thales Australia and Valir.
