Uniteam International is awarded a new medical contract with the Rumanian Army

Uniteam International have signed a €13,000,000 contract with the Romanian Army for a turnkey 'role two' mobile hospital, based on tents and containers. The contract is a result of Uniteam International's focus on Eastern Europe, which is regarded as an important market for the future.
The delivery includes special containers for sterilisation, operation, donation, water treatment, storage and radiology, as well as laboratories, mortuaries, sanitation areas, kitchens and canteens. When fully operational, the hospital is 100% self-supporting and can also handle NBC threats.
Working together with its subcontractors, Uniteam International will begin the installation of the units in October this year. Final delivery is scheduled to be in late March 2008.
Uniteam have previously delivered a hospital to the Royal Dutch army.
