Mobile Expandable Command Posts for the Norwegian Army

To satisfy mobility needs for the new structure, The Norwegian Army will take delivery of 30 Mobile Expandable Command Posts later this year. The Contract was awarded to Uniteam International following prototype testing last winter. The prototype field tests of '3 in 1' and '2 in 1' expandable shelters took place among other during exercise 'Strong Resolve 2002'.
The Norwegian Army selected Uniteam CSC Certified 20'x8'x8' Steel Shelters to satisfy operational, logistical and commercial requirements. These shelter types have been in operational use by several European armies and the UN for some years, and have proven to be extremely versatile and rugged. The shelters to be delivered will be 3rd generation design, taking advantage of experiences gained during multiple field deployments by many military users. The shelters will be delivered 'turn key' with audio visual and communication systems integrated as well as Generator Sets and NBC-Filtration.
This contract further strenghtens Uniteam International's position as a leading provider of Tactical Shelters to military forces world wide.
