SETOLITE - Portable Lighting Systems

SETOLITE manufactures portable lighting systems for military camps. These systems cover a range of applications, such as the internal illumination of tents, portable hospitals and shelters, mobile command posts, and armed vehicles. Lighting masts are provided to illuminate outdoor facilities. Portable lightning conductors, power distribution systems, hand lamps and portable flooring complete the product portfolio.

LIGHTING CALCULATION SOFTWARE

SETOLITE has an innovative software solution to calculate the minimum number of lights required to illuminate a shelter or container to exact lighting requirements. Thus enabling the customer to achieve excellent lighting levels with the most cost effective and ideal solution. This special service is provided free of charge to SETOLITE customers.

ALDEBARAN 1000 TENT ILLUMINATION SYSTEM

The ALDEBARAN series 1000 tent illumination system is designed for the interior illumination of command posts, catering facilities, medical and accommodation tents. An excellent lighting solution has been developed for each specific application. The lamps can be fitted with an emergency function such as a back up battery, to provide emergency lighting in the case of a power failure. These lights are ideal for catering shelters. SETOLITE also offer lights with an integral dimmer switch which are ideal for the lighting within sleeping and accommodation blocks as well as medical shelters.

The ALDEBARAN series 1000 lamps are also suitable for exterior illumination typically for helicopter pads, military check points and shelter forecourts.

ALDEBARAN 4000 ILLUMINATION SYSTEM FOR PORTABLE WORK STATIONS

The ALDEBARAN series 4000 system provides a focussed, anti-glare light for the illumination of work stations. These types of lights are ideal for computer workstations located inside the command shelters.

ALDEBARAN VARIO ILLUMINATION SYSTEM

This excellent system provides light, power and data distribution all from one unit. The Aldebaran Vario is specially designed to illuminate the workstation, provide additional power sockets for IT equipment and to act as a networking device to connect the WAN (Wide Area Network) to the LAN – (Local Area Network) often located within the command post.

PHOTOVOLTAIC LIGHTING FOR PORTABLE APPLICATIONS

Rapid developments in photovoltaic technology have meant that sunlight can now be efficiently converted to electrical energy. By combining this renewable energy source (photovoltaic blanket) with low energy saving LED cells (light) Setolite has developed a high light intensity illumination system with zero running costs.

ILLUMINATION OF ARMED VEHICLES AND CONTAINERS

The ALDEBARAN series 6000 lighting system has been designed for areas with low headroom. This system is ideal for illuminating the interiors of armed vehicles and containers. The integrated high-power-LED’s provide a low energy solution with a high light intensity. As no replacement of the long life LED bulbs is required the solution is virtually maintenance free!

HAND LAMPS

SETOLITE uses modern LED and HID-technology in hand lamps. The user can choose between white or coloured tactical lights. Lights for defilade (personal protection) are available. Setolite also offers UV and Infra Red lights for specific applications.

FLOORING FOR TENTS

SETOLITE’s unique Floorfix flooring system can be used inside and outside military shelters. Floorfix is robust and extremely durable, manufactured with regenerated materials and easy to install without the need for onsite training.

POWER DISTRIBUTION UNITS AND EXTENSION LEADS

SETOLITE also manufactures ruggedized power distribution units and extension leads for the distribution of power within military shelters and camps.
