ROFI Provide ROFI Camp Kit for Norwegian Armed Forces

ROFI Industrier lease 'Camp Kit' complete camp solution to Norwegian Air Force and Home Guard.
The ROFI Camp Kit was introduced to the market in late 2002, as a response to a request from the Norwegian Air Force for use during one of their exercises. The first lease was for 20 tents, complete with inner lining, PVC floor, solid door, flysheet and entrance section. Rofi also provided instruction and training during deployment and striking of the camp.
The second lease was for 3 years, this time to be set up at Heistadmoen, one of the regional camps of the Norwegian Home Guard; 32 tents with flysheets that protect both tent and entrance section against sun and/or heavy snow, solid floor and lighting.
Deployed since May 2003, Lt Col. Enberget, Commandant at Heistadmoen, states that the camp so far has performed up to their expectation, even through heavy snow and rough winter conditions. “The exercises are usually of short duration, one week only, leaving no time to be wasted on tasks except for the military training. With this camp, comfort level for the soldiers is good, and focus may be kept on the training.” Lt. Col. Enberget is willing to allow our defence contacts to visit Heistadmoen for a closer inspection of the camp.
Rofi has replenished the Camp Kit for new missions; latest for accommodation of Norwegian Forces at a NATO-exercise outside Norway, also providing air conditioning with heating capacity.
Each tent in the ROFI Camp Kit may accommodate 10-16 persons in field beds, or 16-24 persons in bunk beds. The multi-purpose tent may easily be used for purposes such as kitchen, dining hall, field shower, office or storage, by installation of accessories.
The specialized packing system allows room for up to 20 complete tents in two 20ft containers.
By establishing good relations with suppliers of complementary products, we put together complete camp solutions for small or large units. How complex the solution should be is up to our customer’s decision.
On request we offer training, instruction or deployment services, erecting and striking the camp in connection with an operation or exercise. For long-term leases, we include two inspections of the camp per year as standard. More frequent inspections may be offered if required.
