MilSys UK - DRASH - Deployable Rapid Assembly SheltersDRASH is manufactured by DHS Systems and is an acronym for Deployable Rapid Assembly Shelter. MilSys UK Ltd is the UK representative company for DHS Systems and is responsible for the assembly, maintenance, training and sales of DRASH products in UK, Europe, Middle East, Far East and Australia. DRASH is the most respected and reliable quick erect / strike tactical shelter system available. For over ten years, DRASH has proven itself again and again as the shelter of choice by all branches of the US military, numerous Federal Agencies as well as NATO Forces. DRASH INTER-CONNECTABLE SHELTER SYSTEMDRASH is the most technologically advanced shelter available, incorporating multiple patents with a composite frame structure fabricated from Titanite®. Titanite is three times stronger than aluminium for the same weight and cross section. DRASH also features a pre-attached two-cover design. This allows the user to quickly deploy the shelter without attaching or detaching the covers before or after deployment. TACTICAL SHELTER SUPPORT TRAILERSThere are five different series of shelters with 43 models of varying widths and lengths. All shelters are inter-connectable allowing for effective complexing for joint operations. A family of high mobility tactical trailers with multiple variants supports the shelters as total systems. These trailers offer mobile electric power, environmental control and transportation for the shelters. The generators meet the TQG (Tactically Quiet Generator) noise requirement and have been certified for transport on C-130, C-5A, C-17 and C-141 aircraft. As with the shelters, DRASH trailers have been tested by Aberdeen Test Centre. COMPLETE MILITARY SHELTER INFRASTRUCTURE DRASH is recognized as an exceptional integration of shelter, utilities and tactical mobility. Combined together, DRASH provides a total solution. A complete infrastructure when deployed in the field: shelter, power, lighting, heat, cooling and power distribution. More than 6,000 shelters are now in use by the US military and NATO with nearly 1,000 trailer systems now in operation.
