MFC Survival - Military Shelters, Waterproof Bags and Camouflage Systems

MFC Survival has manufactured a wide range of military shelter products since 1959 and has built a reputation for quality and durability.

The company's worldwide customer base includes the UK Ministry of Defence (MoD), armed forces, emergency services and humanitarian organisations, and we also supply OEM equipment to many international companies.

INFLATABLE RAPID-DEPLOYMENT SHELTER

Deployable in minutes, the unique, inflatable rapid-response shelter has been supplied to emergency services and armed forces worldwide. Available in a range of sizes and colours, all our military shelters contain our unique pressure-compensating units. No continuous inflation is required.

Our multipurpose, rapid-response shelters can be used for:

  • Casualty holding areas
  • Forward-advance posts

  • Crime-scene preservation

FLEXIBLE MILITARY SHELTER

Our flexible, rapid-deployment military shelters can be carried by two to eight people, depending on the size of the shelter. They are suitable for anchoring on both hard and soft-standing ground.

Supplied to armies, navies, air forces and emergency services worldwide, our rapid-deployment military shelters are available in a wide range of sizes and colours. They can also be linked together to provide larger accommodation.

Standard equipment that comes with our military shelters includes:

WATERPROOF BAGS

Made of abrasion-resistant material, our waterproof bags allow for the protection of everything from battery packs to skis. They are lightweight and durable, and provide compact, waterproof storage for essential equipment (they have been successfully used by the military).

Submersible to 20m, our waterproof bags have integral-inflation ports and waterproof zips, and are also airtight and customisable.

CAMOUFLAGE SYSTEMS

Correctly deployed camouflage systems can dramatically reduce the possibility of detection, no matter how sophisticated the surveillance technique.

MFC Survival camouflage systems are made to the highest standards, providing excellent colour fastness to light, water resistance and abrasion resistance. The camouflage nets are manufactured from a lightweight material which provides ease of transportation and erection yet is extremely robust.

MFC Survival camouflage systems are customisable, suitable for use under all climatic conditions and have an operating-temperature range of -40°C to +70°C.

EQUIPMENT CONCEALMENT SETS

Concealment sets are purpose-designed camouflage systems used to hide bulky equipment such as aircraft, helicopters, artillery, and radar installations.

CAMOUFLAGE NETS

MFC Survival camouflage nets consist of a mushroom cap and hollow tubes of customisable length, and can be supplied with GRP supports.

To infrared-detection equipment, these supports are indistinguishable from foliage as they contain a permanent infrared-reflective pigment in NATO green. There is therefore nothing that can chip or flake off, making maintenance costs extremely low.

Our camouflage nets are available in many different types, including woodland, mountain, desert and arctic.

CAMOUFLAGE SUPPORT POLES

Effective camouflage relies upon breaking up sharp regular features that are easily recognisable, and to facilitate this, our camouflage nets can be supplied with support poles. Correctly deployed, these poles can completely alter the contour of equipment being concealed.

ISO9001:2000 CERTIFICATION

MFC Survival has held a quality certificate of approval since 1995, and currently holds BS EN ISO9001:2000. Prior to this MFC Survival was quality approved by the MoD to AQAP4.

The company is registered on the MoD's contractors list. MFC Survival is also a member of the Fire and Rescue Suppliers Association (FIRESA), the Defence Manufacturers Association (DMA) and Cardiff's chamber of commerce.
