ARMOURED MILITARY SHELTER DOORS

Lunor blast resistant and gastight doors are designed for civil defence and military shelters, and they also meet industrial requirements. Different types of armour-plated doors, armour-plated covers and pressure doors are available. These doors are designed for high and intermediate levels of protection. Lunor shelter closing devices are concreted on site, to ensure an optimum bond with the shelter shell.

Lunor blast protection valves serve as a safety device against pressure waves for air inlet and outlet openings in a range of civil defense and military shelters. Additionally, these valves are widely used in industrial sectors such as petrochemical plants and nuclear power stations, and wherever men and plants are to be protected against any kind of explosion-like pressure waves.

Lunor also provide blast protection valves for air intake and air outlets (for example, 12 valves, type ESV-4). The armouring runs through the wall frame. This makes lower wall thicknesses possible, allowing for simpler construction and cost-effective solutions.

NBC VENTILATION AND FILTER UNITS

Protection from chemical agents and radioactive fallout requires ventilation units, which are equipped with valves, prefilters and NBC filters. NBC ventilation units create overpressure inside the shelter, preventing harmful gases from leaking inside.

Lunor NBC-filters GF are sophisticated, compact, shockproof units designed to clean the air from the following contaminants:

  • Nuclear fallout
  • Radioactive dust
  • Biological agents
  • All known war gases

The main applications of this product are in hardened industrial buildings and private, military and local authority shelters. NBC filters are available in different sizes with nominal airflow capacity from 40m³/h to 900 m³/h.

Lunor offers a wide range of ventilation and filtering units for shelters. In case of need, the NBC-filter can be connected by means of flexible hoses, in order to clean the air from residual fine radioactive dust, bacterium and all kinds of known war gases. Where necessary, for example, in the case of larger shelters, several VA units may be installed in parallel. The air-handling units are equipped with an electric motor with handle for emergency use and a small electric hand lamp.
