FIDAE 2008 - Premiere for Kärcher Futuretech

At the International Air & Space Fair (FIDAE) in Santiago de Chile from March 31 to April 6, 2008, Kärcher Futuretech will demonstrate its high performance and innovative capability. At the 14th edition of the most important exhibition for land and air defence technologies on the Latin American continent, Kärcher Futuretech will present its complete product range for peace-keepers and disaster control organisations.
The focus will be on mobile systems for water purification and catering. Using systems of the Waterclean series, it is possible to produce 10,000 to 240,000 litres of palatable drinking water per day, as needed for the supply of up to 60,000 people. Either well-portioned in bags by means of the innovative "Water Packaging System" or filled in bottles by the "Water Bottling Plant" – clean drinking water is a decisive factor for the health of every person.
The mobile catering systems stand out due to their modularity. The systems which range from a cooking kettle module, frying/baking module up to a complete container kitchen are highly mobile and very flexible in use. The CD 10 combi-steamer, our "warmest recommendation", quickly delivers tasty food. "Our large spectrum of performance includes tailor-made solutions and attracts many customers all over the world. Especially on the South and Central Americal markets, we would like to intensify our presence", states sales manager Marko Löffler gladly looking forward to the first appearance of Kärcher Futuretech at the FIDAE.
Mainly the trailer-based MFK and TFK field kitchens were the focus of interest and found their first customers in Latin America in the last years. But also the interest in mobile drinking water purification systems, laundries and sanitary systems is continuously increasing. In the last few months, new local sales representatives have been appointed in some Latin American countries. "The first contacts are very positive", underlines the sales expert summarising the recently concluded partnerships in South and Central America.
There is a strong demand within disaster control and relief organisations whether in applications within peace-keeping forces which want to enhance their logistical basis for missions in their home country or UN missions. Especially with regard to the increasing number of natural catastrophes such as floods or earthquakes, a quick response of special mission forces will be more and more important. Together with its local partners and customers, Kärcher Futuretech will break new ground. The exhibition stand E84 on the FIDAE 2008 is worth a visit.
