"World of Colour" – Innovations and Record Figures in Paris

Winnenden - KÄRCHER Futuretech was a player in the "Big Shots" orchestra at Eurosatory, the world's largest exhibition of defence technology, held in Paris in mid-June 2008.
At its almost 200m² outdoor stand, and surrounded by global players such as Krauss-Maffei-Wegmann and Mercedes, KÄRCHER Futuretech was able to attract the public with its open concept and "World of Colour" motto. The numerous innovations also attracted a great deal of interest.
Trailer-mounted water packaging system
The trailer-mounted water packaging system, which was exhibited in cooperation with the Luxemburg Armed Forces, was one of the main focuses of attention. This water packaging system can package up to 1,600L of drinking water in an hour. In the field of mobile catering, KÄRCHER Futuretech presented different types of electrically and diesel-driven cooking elements with extraction systems which are part of a lightweight container space system.
Decontamination agents and NBC protective suit
The third focus was in the area of NBC defence. Apart from the TEP 90, special attention was paid to the GDS 2000, RDS 2000 and BDS 2000 chemicals - a new generation of decontamination agents - and the SAFEGUARDTM NBC protective suit. The "World of Colour" motto was the central theme of KÄRCHER Futuretech's presence at the exhibition. A specially developed film spot, theme-matching give-aways and a reception on the third exhibition day caused a considerable international stir. The high number of visitors to the stand spoke more volumes than just a splash of colour.
The company which organised the German pavilion, Creative Consulting (CCO) recorded record figures: A total of 55 German companies, including eleven newcomers, participated in Eurosatory. The next exhibition will take place in June 2010.
