Gichner Shelter Systems, a division of Gichner Systems Group, Inc., and a world leader in the design, development and production of tactical and logistic shelters and shelter systems, is pleased to welcome James J. Lajeunesse as our new director of manufacturing.

Jim was the general manager of NTN-BCA Corporation since March 1997, and was responsible for business operations, representing 176 employees and generating $48 million in sales. Prior to NTN, Jim was president of Cybernation Technology Corporation in Knoxville, Tennessee from 1992 to March 1997. His client list included low to high volume multinational companies that serve the power generation, aerospace, ordnance, first tier automotive suppliers, bearing, specialty machinery, and pulp/paper industries.

Based on Jim’s prior accomplishments and leadership capabilities, and as partners with Herb Betz and Ron Timmons, he is responsible for leading Gichner’s manufacturing operations, the successful implementation of lean manufacturing, and improving efficiency and quality through hard work and determination.
