Stork Fokker, a subsidiary of Stork, designs, develops and manufactures a wide range of quality products in which light alloys or advanced composites are applied. Stork Fokker has a staff of 700 highly educated specialists organized in five business units that cover various core activities:

Stork Fokker manufactures assemblies and systems using aluminum alloys, titanium, high strength steel or advanced composite materials. Our high performance sandwich panels, used in various applications, combine low mass with high stiffness and durability.

An in house engineering department with qualified specialists is capable to meet every challenge. Stork Fokker offers design, development and manufacturing facilities for:

MOBILE SHELTER SYSTEMS

Stork Fokker's lightweight shelters are used to protect the crew and the sensitive equipment often housed in these shelters. Extensive experiences in the production of 4,000 shelters for the most demanding customers at the top-end of the global market have contributed to the superior quality of this product. Total care and continuous support illustrate the high service level of the organization.

A result of these capabilities is the product development of the mobile field hospital, already in use by the Royal Netherlands Army. The flexible system which can be fully customized, is worldwide deployable and provides high quality medical care within hours. Expendable units offer a comfortable and spacious working environment for medical personnel. All modules are dimensioned to the ISO 668 type 1C requirement, allowing system transportation by all platforms capable of handling 20ft containers.

Shelters have been built since the early sixties for an international clientele including NATO and the Dutch ministry of defense, covering a wide spectrum of applications: intelligence systems for electronic defense, radio stations, radar / weapon control centers, satellite communication stations, command posts, water recycling plants, launderettes, decompression sets, repair shops etc.

Stork Fokker's shelters comply with the highest EMC (Electro Magnetic Compatibility) requirements:

  • MIL-STD-461D
  • MIL-STD-285
  • SHAPE 6516-88
