Extraspace provides rapid-deployment flat pack buildings for a variety of uses.

Our portable buildings include: flatpack containers, flatpack offices and accommodation units, chemical stores, transit camps and bullet-proof kiosks.

Extraspace focuses on simple but innovative design technology. The buildings can be enlarged at any time by adding modules to the initial installation.

All components are light and slim, ensuring that buildings can be assembled in locations with restricted access.

Once assembled, units can be lifted by crane or forklift and transported either assembled or flat-packed.

Flatpack, portable storage containers for military use

Expandastore is our best selling flatpacked, expandable storage container; it is a lightweight general purpose, secure, portable building.

The Expandastore comprises:

• Optional shelving, ramps, storage bins, forklift feet, levelling feet
• Sizes: 2m, 3m and 4m long x 2.1m wide, all of which are extendable

Rapid-deployment accommodation systems

Expandakabin is a flatpacked portable office/accommodation unit. Doors and windows can be sited anywhere in the building due to the unique panel design. The standard unit uses 50mm insulation, but can be changed to suit environmental demands. Once assembled, it can be extended in width or length by adding more units.

Individual units can be lifted by crane or forklift and transported assembled or flat-packed. The entire structure requires only a socket set to assemble.

Expandacom is a flatpacked portable office/accommodation unit, which is similar in design to the Expandakabin, except it is larger and has an increased internal ceiling height. Expandacom can also be double stacked once assembled.

Large areas of open plan accommodation can be formed when the individual units are linked together.

Containers for the safe storage of liquids and chemicals

Expandachem is a bunded container designed for the safe storage of liquids and chemicals. As with all the Expanda range, the store is flat-packed and man-portable. Available in three sizes, all of which are extendable.

Bullet proof kiosks

Our bullet proof portable sentry boxes/guard houses are available in both standard and bespoke designs and are built to achieve a ballistic resistance in excess of the requirements of NIJ level IV, NATO B7 and EN 1063.

The standard range includes one to four-man units designed to accommodate guards who protect government buildings, critical infrastructure, military installations, embassies and VIP residences. The larger multi-occupancy/multi-purpose models can be used as long-stay guard facilities (when fitted with WCs, kitchens and beds), border posts for police and customs officials, temporary banks, portable command centres and many other special applications that require a high level of ballistic protection.

All models are fitted as standard with air conditioning, flood lights, intercoms, emergency evacuation systems, blast-proof ventilation, and can also be fitted with a long list of accessories including gun ports, CBRNe air filtration, communication packs, movement and night vision equipment, WCs, kitchens and beds.
