EXPANDABLE LIGHT AIR MOBILITY SHELTER (ELAMS) - RIGID AND RUGGED TACTICAL CONTAINERIZED SHELTERS

The Expandable Light Air Mobility Shelter (ELAMS) is designed to be configured for any support mission, such as:

RAPID DEPLOYMENT ENCAMPMENTS FOR MILITARY OPERATIONS

ELAMS are also offered as part of AAR's rapid deployment encampments. These encampment systems were developed to meet the requirements of peacekeeping and civil relief operations with minimal set up time. Encampments can be tailored to meet the requirements of a deployed operation from as little as 50 personnel to over 1,100 personnel.

The ELAMS is sized at 178in L x 96in W x 90in H and fits on most military and commercial trucks as well as flat racks. Versatile, the ELAMS is designed to function on the ground as well as on a vehicle. Detachable air transport rails allow the loading and unloading of the ELAMS into the C-130 Aircraft without requiring specialized handling equipment. Easily deployed by untrained personnel in 8-10 minutes, the ELAMS can be quickly transformed from a fully secure and transportable shelter to its expanded and operational configuration. This unique, expandable shelter offers the end user the benefit of up to three times the floor area of a conventional wood or steel module having the same shipping footprint.

ACCORDION EXPANDABLE SHELTER (AES) - A MOBILE ACCORDION EXPANDABLE MULTI-PURPOSE PERSONNEL SHELTER

The AES is a complete weather-tight shelter that comfortably houses personnel in the most extreme environments worldwide. Expanding from a 32in W x 8ft H x 13ft L container, the AES becomes a hard-floor shelter 32ft L x 8ft H x 13ft W with doors and windows at either end. Easily set up in 30 minutes by four personnel, the AES can be quickly transformed from its secure and transportable format to its expanded and operational configuration. Integrated jack leveling and ground anchor systems allow the AES to be erected and secured on unprepared ground terrain. With the ability to load nine AES shelters into a C-130-H aircraft, combined with its low Tare weight, the AES is one of the fastest deployable personnel shelters available for encampments - at significant savings in fuel.
