Gill Sensors exhibited at AUVSI's Unmanned Systems North America on 16-19 August 2011, with the launch of three new product ranges targeted specifically towards unmanned land, sea and air systems.

The product launches included a new range of miniature non-contact position sensors; new micro inductive UAV ignition coils and an extended range of micro fuel and oil level sensors.

Visitors to Gill's all-new booth were able to get hands-on with many of the products, allowing them to see how intricate and lightweight the components really are. One visitor remarked: "I've seen your adverts and your miniature fuel level sensors seem perfect for our new UAV development; the size, weight and performance seem spot-on."

Visitors to the show were also provided with a 'virtual booth', which gave details of the products that would be shown on the booth, where the booth was located and the staff that would be on hand to answer questions. The new mini-site was designed for use with most smartphone platforms, with a direct link and QR code provided in all advertising materials surrounding the show. The virtual booth will remain live for a short while – just visit the Gill Sensors website to view.

The Gill Sensors sales team is now busy following up all of the new leads from the show, with some new custom components already in the design phase.

Gill Sensors has already signed up for AUVSI 2012 in Las Vegas, booth 747.
