Vacca are located in suburban Cincinnati, Ohio, USA. We develop, manufacture, and license robust high-technology products and system solutions in catalytic heating for commercial, industrial, and military applications.

We sell to users, and engineer exclusive designs to meet the specifications of manufacturing and sales partners.

A singular feature of our devices is their lack of a requirement for an electrical source. Military uses cover environmental heating applications, personal heating products, equipment heating, and food heating and preparation systems.

We are actively engaging new prospective licensees, wide-geography distributors, overseas manufacturing partners and Department of Defense contract managers. Our services include contract R&D, pilot manufacturing, and conducting feasibility studies.

Flameless catalytic heaters

Vacca’s flameless catalytic heater systems address concerns of weight, efficiency, safe storage, transportation, and operational/logistical complexities often encountered with conventional catalytic, electrical and/or chemical heaters. Our catalytic heater produces flameless heat, where the only byproducts are carbon dioxide and water vapor.

What sets our product apart is the ability to self-start and self regulate, without requiring preheating of the catalyst, a spark to drive the reaction, or electronic controls. Additional benefits of our flameless catalytic heater are portability, safety, low maintenance, and low cost.

We are also expanding the scope of heat-driven applications addressed by our core flameless product platform to include absorption chilling and enhanced efficiency for fuel cells in hybrid heating / cooling / electric systems.

Environmental heating systems

Vacca central heating system designs include the functionalities of space heating, water heating, and electric power, the latter including thermoelectric and fuel cell. Thus, Vacca’s offering is ideal for mobile applications and can be incorporated into emergency and temporary shelter heating and electricity.

Personal heating systems

Vacca supply a wide range of personal heating solutions, such as pouch warmers for hands, cameras and the like; sleeping bag and tent warmers, and heated garments such as gloves, jackets, boots and hats.

Transportation and industrial heaters

Vacca also develop a range of heaters for cars, airplanes and other equipment, as well as affiliated products such as heated runways, heaters for valves, regulators and expansion points on gas pipelines, battery heaters, and de-icing of aircraft wings and helicopter blades.

Food heating and preparation systems

Vacca’s range of heating products also incorporate food heating and preparation systems, including heated beverage systems, heated delivered food and food temperature maintenance systems, and cooking heaters.
