TDI Power has been granted a patent for a low output voltage converter utilising distributed secondary circuits. The inventors of this unit include Gary Mulcahy, CTO, John Santini, VP of engineering, and Joe Mancuso, principal engineer.
The use of voltage converters is well known where a particular voltage is needed for a specific application and differs from the obtainable source voltage. As energy consumption and power control have evolved, so has the need for improved and efficient power management.
