TLM 1550 HIGH VOLTAGE / HIGH RATE AA-SIZED LITHIUM BATTERY

Tadiran Batteries has introduced a new high voltage / high rate AA-sized lithium battery, the TLM 1550. Packing 2Wh of energy at 4.1V into an AA-size cell, the TLM 1550 is specifically designed for applications requiring high power, long life and extended storage, such as military/aerospace systems, communications systems, wireless sensors, as well as other telemetric and remote devices.

The AA-sized TLM 1550 features an open circuit voltage of 4.1 volt, and the ability to handle pulses of up to 15A, with 5A maximum continuous load. The TLM offers very long life in extreme environmental conditions, including a self-discharge rate of less than 3% per year at room temperature, and a temperature range of (-40°C to +85°C).

LITHIUM THIONYL CHLORIDE BATTERIES

Tadiran Batteries' Lithium Thionyl Chloride (LTC) batteries are suitable where a 3.6V high energy primary battery is required for up to ten years' stand-alone operation.

Because of their unique characteristics, Tadiran Batteries' LTC batteries have been used successfully for CMOS memory chips and a wide range of devices for many years, especially in the meter market.

Recently, there has been a tendency towards the use of lithium batteries as autonomous pulse-operated power supplies - often in conjunction with highly demanding temperature profiles. Tadiran Batteries' wide range of LTC batteries includes the SL-500 series with extended temperature range up to +130°C.

Tadiran Batteries offers a wide range of customized batteries as well as assistance in developing customized production of single and multi-cell batteries to meet specific requirements.

PULSESPLUS BATTERIES

PulsesPlus batteries are ideal for applications requiring long life and high energy under high current pulse requirements. They extend replacement intervals, withstand rough environments and are safer than other lithium batteries.

The PulsesPlus technology is best where power is required such as long range GPRS and GSM applications. It offers a combination of a high energy lithium primary battery and a Hybrid Layer Capacitor (HLC), which offers outstanding performance advantages, including:
