Peter and Nadine Harrington were honoured and overwhelmed to officially open the Royal Signals 'Harrington Room' on the 10th of February this year, at the Regiment's Blandford Forum base in Dorset
Due to HGI's huge military involvement in supplying generators for the Cormorant, Reacher and LFG programmes, and their total dedication to reliability and support, the Royal Signals Regiment decided to commemorate HGI's contribution by opening a room in their honour. The 'Harrington Room' is an advanced interactive training suite, where members of the Royal Signals are trained on the use and maintenance of the different models of Harrington Generator in service with the British Army.
Peter and Nadine were also proud to present the Harrington 'Top Student Award' on the day of their visit, the winner receiving a replica model of the LFG 2kW set, and a multi purpose survival tool.
