The Dewey Electronics Corporation, a small business concern based in Oakland, NJ, has announced it will participate in two industry events this month.
The first event is the Marine South exposition at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, which takes place from 22 April to 23 April. The focus of the exposition is the user; the marine who benefits from the equipment, systems, services and technology provided by defense contractors and suppliers from around the world.
Dewey will be at booth 211 and will display the 2kW military tactical generators and the USMC LVPS 3.5kW auxiliary power unit (APU), as well as other products.
The second event is the Military Tactical Vehicles Summit, which takes place at the Hilton McLean Tyson Corners, McLean, Virginia, on 28 April and 29 April. The summit will provide the latest information on tactical vehicle procurements, technology and development and fleet modernization.
Dewey will exhibit auxiliary power units (APUs) for the increasing power demands placed on these vehicles as a result of the additions of advanced electronic components and self-protection systems that provide the warfighter with increased operational efficiency.
Dewey designs and manufactures compact diesel powered open-frame APUs and custom-designed enclosed APUs that provide vehicle mission power. This power is used to support vehicle hotel loads, charge vehicle and/or accessory batteries and provide export power for off-vehicle equipment. Diesel power generation produces voltages in the following standard ranges: 28VDC, 120VAC and 240VAC, with total power output from 3.0kW to 15kW.
