Dalsted Technology - Generating Sets and Trailers

Dalsted Technology A/S is specialized in the development and production of power supply and off-road trailers.

For more than 20 years Dalsted Technology has delivered generating sets for business, private, public and military use and within the last couple of years the company has increasingly specialized in emergency generating sets for securing vital functions in case of a power cut.

The company’s current market position has been developed through a large focus on product development and thorough quality control throughout the development and production processes. All products are developed and tested in our own development department at the facilities in Middelfart, Denmark.

All products are made according to customer, MIL-STD or STANAG specifications. Due to our large experience in cooperating with military customers, which has been accumulated over the last 18 years, we have many parts with NSN. Moreover, as a result of our close relations with the codification section at DAMC (Danish Army Material Command) we can assist our customers in the codification process. In the development of new products we focus on applying parts that are already used by our customers in other systems. The focus results in a reduced number of spare parts.

GENERATING SETS AND OFF-ROAD TRAILERS

Dalsted Technology has a very broad generating set and off-road trailer product assortment and is able to deliver individual solutions for customers with special needs and demands. The products can be divided into three product categories: relief equipment, power generating and military field equipment.

RELIEF EQUIPMENT

The relief equipment product category consists of generating sets and trailers for humanitarian aid operations and situations with high requirements for flexibility and reliability.

POWER GENERATING

The power generating product category consists of stationary and mobile generating sets and emergency generating sets for civilian use, where secure power supply is crucial.

MILITARY FIELD EQUIPMENT

The military field equipment product category consists of mobile generating sets and trailers, which are specially constructed according to military specifications.

GENERATING SETS

Our smaller generating sets concepts cover portable and mobile 1.5kW, 2.5kW, 3.5kW and 5.0kW at 1 x 115VAC 60Hz generating sets; 1 x 230VAC at 50Hz and 7.5kW at 3 x 400/230VAC 50Hz single and double generating sets.

The range is based on the Farymann air-cooled diesel engine and a Dalsted designed and produced synchronic, brushless, completely closed generator. This concept also covers auxiliary power units for battery charging.

The concepts for generating sets up to 450kW are mostly based on Deutz air and water cooled engines. This range is equipped with Dalsted and Stamford generators.

The long experience in cooperation with military authorities and their requirements has lead to high level of structural, standardisation and like components of which most are implemented into the codification system.

TRAILERS

Four standard trailers are available for different purposes.

• Trailer DT 1300/1301 with overrun brake, one axle, and 1,300kg capacity (NSN 2330-22-119-7678/2330-22-600-9821)
• Trailer DT 1800 with overrun brake, one axle and 1,800kg capacity (NSN 2330-22-309-0287)
• Trailer DT 2000/2200 with air brake, one axle, and 2,000kg/2,200kg capacity (NSN 2330-22-121-8743/2330-22-124-5371)
• Trailer DT 2600 with overrun brake, two axles, and 2,600kg capacity (NSN 2330-22-610-3341)

Almost all spare parts for the trailers are codified and have NSN.
