AGLO - Military Batteries, Chargers and Solar Power SystemsAGLO is an experienced company offering a broad range of military rechargeable batteries, chargers and military grade primary batteries. AGLO supplies the French Army, government organizations and NATO forces worldwide, as well as supplying to various industrial and commercial customers since 1952. BATTERIES FOR AEROSPACE APPLICATIONSAGLO aerospace batteries are involved in the ejection seat management system on the French Air Force's Mirage aircraft. High energy density and extreme reliability due to severe burn-in and cell characterization are the battery's main features. AGLO have also designed a battery to allow a remotely controlled target to register and transmit all information when training with an anti-aircraft defence system. MILITARY GRADE CHARGERSDesigned to work in harshest environment, AGLO's military grade chargers feature IP67 with a 400W output power. Every chemistry is supported: Li-ion, Ni-Cd and Ni-Mh. BATTERIES FOR NIGHT VISION AND MAGNIFIERSAGLO was the first company to introduce the concept of rechargeable batteries for night vision devices. AGLO launched a complete set of dedicated military chargers and matching military batteries for night vision devices in early 2002. This has led to a drastic decrease in operating costs, since rechargeable are directly substitutable in the primary battery pack. BATTLEFIELD SOLAR POWER SYSTEMS: NO LIMIT IN MOBILITYAGLO are now providing defence companies and the French Army with the ultimate battlefield solution in terms of autonomy and self-power for electronic devices. The battlefield solar power system consists of a flexible ultra-light military solar panel coupled to a specially designed Li-ion charger. For example, one configuration developed for 'Chasseurs Alpins' (French mountain infantry soldiers) is able to charge a 5Ah Li-ion battery within four hours in optimum conditions.
