Interactive and Online: Skills M5 Competency-Based Training (CBT) Suite for Operators and Maintainers

25 August 2009

Absolute Data Group (ADG) has announced the release of Skills M5 version 2.0. This is a major upgrade to the Skills M5 e-Learning suite and includes the following benefits:

  • SCORM conformance - Skills Studio is now exporting individual HTML SCOs from the authoring environment; Skills MyClass is utilized for playing the SCOs from Skills Studio or from another SCO authoring systems; Skills M5 has currently been tested as being compliant to the 3rd Edition ADL Test Bed
  • Ability to ship training content change packages, based on links to R4i generated IETM change packages
  • In-field enhancement note (IFEN) capability, whereby the end customer site can add additional 'notes' to supplement suppliers’ delivered training content
  • Option to access training materials from the Skills MyClass portal or by logging on to the R4i Viewer and going to the Web/Intranet tab

ADG's CEO Tammy Halter said she is proud of the development team's efforts in achieving SCORM conformance in such a short period, while still continuing with the important interaction of technical S1000D content being shared into the training environment. "Following on from our certification for our R4i IETP Viewer on the ADF restricted network, and the US Air Force global information grid, this new release is a great result for ADG that will provide new markets and opportunities for our customers."

ADG Customers looking to upgrade their Skills M5 licenses should contact ADG.
