As part of TCS’ Government Solutions Group, the Space & Component Technology Division manufactures rugged solid-state drives, performs parts management for spacecraft and launch vehicles and is a full-service provider of integrated launch tracking, telemetry and command solutions.
Tier-1 aerospace companies, who are prime customers for the products and services provided by the Torrance facility, demand that their supply chains pay close attention to customer/regulatory compliance, product traceability, configuration management and other key criteria regarding the quality and safety assurances involved in supplying highly reliable aerospace products and services – all elements reviewed in TCS’ AS9100C certification.
The AS9100C certification demonstrates TCS’ focus on, and commitment to the highest level of quality process control for each business and production process. The AS9100C auditor also received first-hand evidence of TCS’ quality improvement processes, demonstrating a commitment to increasing its existing high quality standards.
